Hi, we're Lindsey and Francis, and we love poutine!

Like... really love it.

Francis is from Quebec, and we both spent years living there, eating our way through the province's legendary poutine scene. Lindsey has been obsessed with fries, potatoes, and poutine for as long as she can remember, and living in Quebec gave her the chance to really study what makes great poutine great.

When we moved back to Edmonton, we couldn't find a place that treated poutine like the star it truly is. So in 2011, we opened La Poutine. Drawing on her restaurant experience and years spent exploring Quebec's poutine culture, Lindsey creates all of our recipes, blending tradition with creative flavour combinations.

Since then, we've been voted Best Poutine in YEG again and again, and even ranked #5 in Canada.

We're here to serve the poutine we always wished existed—made with quality, care, and a good dose of cheese-pulling joy.
