Hi, we're Lindsey and Francis, and we love poutine!

Like... really love it. We’ve eaten it just about everywhere you can imagine—and not just in passing. Francis is from Quebec (where poutine was born), and we both even lived there for a while, fully immersing ourselves in the land of cheese curds and gravy. Safe to say, we know the real deal.

When we moved back to Edmonton, we couldn’t find a place that treated poutine like the star it truly is. So in 2011, we decided to open La Poutine—a little spot dedicated to doing one thing really well.

Our mission? Serve up the best, most satisfying poutines in the city. Whether you’re a purist, vegan, gluten-free, or all about wild toppings, we’ve got something with your name on it. Our menu is where classic comfort food meets creative flavor bombs—with zero shortcuts and 100% love.

Since then, we’ve been voted Best Poutine in YEG again and again, and even ranked #5 in Canada. Not bad, eh?
